Manjeet Puri – Professional volunteer as Occupational Therapist
It has been an honour and privilege to be affiliated with Shubh Helping Hands as a volunteer and as a participant. As a retired Occupational Therapist who has worked in the community for 33years, I had a strong desire to continue to serve the needs of seniors in the community. In my role as an Occupational Therapist, I worked primarily with seniors who were facing physical, cognitive, emotional and social challenges. I have always liked meeting people from diverse communities with varied experiences and challenges. I enjoy talking to people, working on mobility, as well as cognitive and social activities. This is why I volunteered to lead the Exercise Program with Shubh Halping Hands.
